As you can tell, I migrated my blog. I’m now using Serendipity, and things seem to be ok. I don’t really like the themes that come with it, but I haven’t looked at the additional ones from their CVS repository yet. This will do for now. And I managed to write a script to […]

Hated by the Linux gods, and a random search
Upfront, I apologize for not having EasyMoblog replaced yet and fixing how text is formatted for RSS. I did try Serendipity a little this weekend, but I was actually doing things at work this week, so no migration.
Look at that, already off track. I’ve tried many times to start using duffman again this week for […]
Foiled again!
Damn easymoblog sucks. Task for the week: play with Serendipity and LiveJournal, WordPress, and others and migrate past posts to a new platform. I suppose I should also try CoMoblog, but since it’s based on easymoblog, I’m sure it’s crap.
Screw you EasyMoblog!!
Anyone want to suggest their recommended platforms?
Some Clerks 2 info
I don’t remember what I’ve posted, but Kevin Smith wrote some stuff up last night and here’s what I’ve got from digging around.
Smith wrapped filming by December (forget date now). Amazing feat considering he originally planned to begin filming in January of 2006. A screening was done for about 50 people (consisting of Miramax execs, […]
RSS and planet fun
I got a planet site working for the lug. While I like how simple Planet is, it also gets frustrating how little there is at the template system. The fact that I really don’t know CSS well, and was trying to make it look like the lug website didn’t help. But it’s up, and maybe […]
Off to a good start
I’m sure that I’m jinxing myself, but that year is off to a good start. My flag (sorry, couldn’t find an image) is finally hanging, so I suppose I’m officially moved in after four months or so. We had a snow day yesterday, which of course I wasted. And I finally have an interview Friday.
The […]
Learning lessons the hard way
I was sitting around bored today, and decided to continue adding things to my repository so I don’t loose them, and fix some entries. After a while I realize, I really only loose data when I’m trying to back things up. Over summer, I even destoryed my laptop hard drive in an attempt to backup […]
The semester is almost over
“Warning, incoming update.”
Alright, I admit, I’ve been watching ReBoot too much lately. But time for updates. There is one week of classes left before finals. My second game project is due Tuesday, and of course I’ve procrastinated too much on it. My biggest problem is that it just isn’t interesting enough for me to care. […]
Helpful tip
This is mostly so I can keep track of this link, but it’s a great tip for anyone. If you don’t know what version control means, please research it. It’s something everybody should at least know about.
Lately, I’ve been real interested in backing up some important data. Some of it I would like to have […]
Top 20 geek novels
The folks over at Guardian Unlimited has posted posted of a survey they’ve conducted. “Survey Monkey’s rubic” aside, here are the top 20 geek novels (written in English since 1932). I’ve only read two of the listed novels, but I’m glad that three of the books on my list of things to read soon are […]
