Hooray! My laptop is back in my custody. I’m still short one hard drive, but that should be replaced in a week or so. For now I’ve got Windows XP installed on a 6 GB hard drive that I’ll swap out, it’s amazing how much space Windows takes up :(. Now I have to […]

…many naps later
I FINALLY FINISHED A BOOK!
Ok, so I probably finished one last summer too, but this is sorta monumental for me. So many good parts of that book. If anyone wants to borrow let me know, here’s some info about it cortesy of Amazon.com
Snow Crash
I just hit the 50 chapters mark in the book I’m reading and have 100 pages to go. I’m finally getting somewhere reading a book.
New music
I’ve noticed today after browsing around that a lot bands that I like listening to are about to release new albums.
Cold - A Different Kind of Pain - Aug 30
Trapt - Someone in Control - Sept 13
Switchfoot - Nothing is Sound - Sept 13
I’m sure there are more, but those are the ones I remember.
Luck is catching up with me
My normal luck is starting to come back, and it hit hard today. I went to get some files off my laptop hard drive to work on projects, but plugged in the adapter wrong which fried the drive. So next week or whenever I get my laptop back, I have to create another service call […]
There you are. Were you scared? It’s ok, you’re home now.
For those of you not enlightened enough to know where that came from, you need to start watching House. It’s another one of those shows I watch over and over again….err, will watch over and over again when DVDs come out :P.
So it’s now 2:00am, and I don’t expect to get tired any time soon. […]
Gaim Summer of Code
Gaim has recently put up public blogs for all of their Summer of Code participants. Looking at the projects, I’m glad to see that someone is working on UPnP enabled file transfers so file transfers will work with NAT, which is good (assuming that will work with linux). However, I’m now mad at gaim (probably […]
Happy 4th
Well, the weekend is mostly over. This week should be interesting at work, I think I have a deadline to meet. Just have to wait and see.
I wasn’t productive at all this weekend. I’ve read very little and made no progress with any code (that I can remember). I have been watching a lot of […]
Serenity, Part II…and other news
Sorry that I didn’t post this last week. Anyways, I went to Albany last week to see a screening of Serenity again. It appeared to be the same copy I saw a month ago in Manchester, so nothing new to report on the movie. I probably didn’t give enough time between viewings, so I ended […]
